How long did it take to build the pyramids?

The construction of the pyramids took approximately 20 years. They were built as tombs for the pharaohs of ancient Egypt. The largest pyramid, the Great Pyramid of Giza, was built for Pharaoh Khufu. It is estimated that it took around 20,000 workers to build the pyramids.
